Paterson Police are investigating a stabbing incident that injured a person Thursday night.
Police were dispatched to an address in the 300 block of 10th Avenue to investigate reports of an assault in progress around 11:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified person suffering stab wounds at that location.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in serious condition.
Police have not released the motive for the attack, and no arrests have been reported.
