There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred in a Paterson neighborhood Wednesday evening.
Police say at approximately 6:20 p.m., gunfire rang out in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and 16th Avenue, sending police to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, units found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after they searched the area, no victims were found.
Several shell casings were located in the vicinity of the shooting, according to police.
The motive is under investigation.
