Paterson Police Investigating Drive-By Shooting that Injured One

Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 3:29 a.m. on October 22, members of the Paterson Police Department were notified that a 21-year-old male Bloomingdale resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.

Based on the initial investigation, the victim was in a motor vehicle parked in the area of 21st Avenue and Madison Avenue in Paterson when an occupant of a passing car began shooting towards the victim’s vehicle.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
