Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for a robbery that happened at a location in the city on Wednesday evening.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 8 p.m. in the vicinity of 44 Godwin Avenue where police were alerted to a robbery in progress report.
Units arrived at the scene were told that a male suspect who wore a mask approached the victim and demanded then took personal possessions before running from the scene.
The suspect was last seen running on Godwin Avenue and may have entered a vehicle during his escape.
The victim did not suffer any severe injuries nor was there a weapon produced according to reports.
