Paterson Firefighters used a stoke basket to rescue a man form the banks of the Passaic River in Paterson on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, the incident happened just before 1 p.m. near Presidential Blvd and Temple Street.
Police say the man suffered a medical condition along the bank of the Passaic River and was hoisted up about 7ft to safety by firefighters.
The man did not suffer severe injuries, according to police.
