The Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) has announced plans to roll out a new, user-friendly payment system early this fall, featuring a redesigned customer portal and expanded payment options aimed at improving convenience for its customers.
According to PVWC officials, the upgraded system will include several new features:
• AutoPay: Automatic payments will return, but all customers will be required to enroll or re-enroll once the system is live.
• E-Billing: Paperless billing will remain available, with re-enrollment necessary for those who wish to continue receiving bills electronically.
• Digital Wallet Payments: The system will accept popular platforms such as PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal Credit.
• In-Store Payments at Walmart: Customers will soon be able to pay their PVWC bill at any Walmart location using cash, debit, or UCards by visiting the store’s customer service desk.
In addition to these enhancements, PVWC will continue offering major credit and debit card payments, e-checks, pay-by-text, and its 24-hour interactive phone payment system.
All customers will need to register their accounts in the new customer portal once it launches, regardless of prior enrollment status.
PVWC will notify customers when the new system is live.
