Police are investigating a reported robbery of a taxi driver that happened overnight in Passaic.
According to reports, police were called to the 30's block of Aspen Place for a call of a robbery in progress.
Upon officers' arrival, they located the driver of a taxi who told them that as many as four black male suspects approached and demanded cash.
As that driver began to hand over cash to the suspects, the men went on the attack causing non-life threatening injuries to the driver reports said.
The men got away with about $10 in cash and some type of electronic recording device that was inside the taxi.
Police are actively searching for the suspects.
