Passaic County Grand Jury Indicts Man for Witness Tampering

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced that Mr. Ramon Cabrera, 41,  of Paterson, has been indicted for tampering with a child witness.

Officials said a Passaic County Grand Jury has returned Indictment No. 21-06-00226-I, charging Ramon Cabrera with tampering with a child witness at a residence in Paterson between June 2019 and March 2020.

Mr. Cabrera was indicted on one count of third-degree Tampering with a Witness.

According to Passaic County officials, the sentencing exposure on third-degree Tampering with a Witness is three to five years in New Jersey State Prison. Mr. Cabrera is scheduled for arraignment on June 16, 2021, before the Honorable Marilyn C. Clark, J.S.C.

A criminal indictment is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
