Palisades Park Man Charged with Sexual Contact, Endangering Welfare of a Child

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Tomas Gonzalez-Teletor, 36, Palisades Park

on charges of Sexual Assault by Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

According to police, on the Palisades Park Police Department received a report that a 7-year-old female was inappropriately touched by Gonzalez-Teletor in October 2017 while in Palisades Park.

An investigation was initiated by the Palisades Park Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested Gonzalez-Teletor was on March 8th in Palisades Park and charged with one count of Sexual Assault by Contact and one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Authorities said Gonzalez-Teletor was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing on Mar. 14th 9 A.M.

Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and would also like to thank the Palisades Park Police Department for their assistance in this investigation.
