Overnight Trenton Shooting Incident Strikes as Many as 10 Victims

Authorities in Trenton are on the search for the suspect/s who pulled up in a neighborhood in the city and unloaded nearly 25 rounds of bullets onto a street and struck almost a dozen people overnight.

According to officials, Trenton Police responded to a bar in the vicinity of Brunswick Avenue and Sanford Street after they received multiple calls of shots fired from frantic residents in the area.

Fast responding units arrived at the scene and found multiple people shot inside and outside the bar just before 12:22 a.m., according to police.

According to preliminary reports, ten victims were transported to the hospital, suffering various gunshot wounds to different parts of their bodies.

Police said, preliminarily five males and five females suffered gunshots wounds and while officers searched the area, they found multiple cars and buildings struck by bullets.

According to officials, The Trenton Shooting Response team were joined by the Mercer County Prosecutors office for the investigation.

There were no immediate reports of fatalities as of 4:30 a.m.
