An overnight stabbing that left two people injured has police in Jersey City investigating.
Police were called to the 20's block of Peace drive before 2:40 a.m. to look into a report of a person stabbed at that location.
Arriving police officers found two females suffering non-life threatening stab injuries to the face, hand, and arm according to preliminary reports.
EMS transported the woman with the facial injury to Jersey City Medical Center where she received her treatment.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
