Authorities in Middlesex County are investigating a shooting that injured two victims in New Brunswick overnight.
According to police, at approximately 1:16 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in a section of Phelps Avenue.
Units arrived and found two victims suffering bullet wounds at that location.
Police say the victims were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center for treatment and remain in an unknown condition.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests reported.
