One person suffered injuries after gunfire erupted in a Passaic neighborhood Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 20'a block of Myrtle Avenue to investigate a shots fired report at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male victim in the teens block of Henry Street suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound according to authorities.
Police say an unidentified gunman arrived at the scene and began to fire shots at the victim and at least one other person.
EMS transported the victim to St. Joseph Hospital where doctors treated his injuries.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
