A shooting that injured two people in Asbury Park overnight has police searching for suspects.
According to preliminary reports, gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 1100 Atlantic Avenue at approximately 9:15 p.m. sending police to the scene where officer immediately taped of the area after finding a male victim struck by bullets at that location.
The victim was rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center where doctors treated their injuries.
A short time after police located the first victim, they were notified by hospital staff that a second patient was dropped off at the hospital suffering gunshot injuries.
Detectives set up a crime scene where they searched the area for possible suspects and evidence to support a motive for the shooting.
There were no other injuries reported.
The suspect remains at-large according to reports.
