Over $250K Worth of Heroin Seized in Pennsauken Search Warrant

Police announced the arrest of a 37-year-old Pennsauken man following a search warrant that lead to the discovery of more than$250,000.00 worth of heroin.

According to police, on Nov. 16th, the Pennsauken Township Police Department and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Entry Team executed a search warrant on the 5500 block of Wayne Avenue.

Confiscated from the raid was over 5 ½ pounds of heroin with a street value of over $250,000.00.

Arrested was 36-year-old Dennis Burdie, of Wayne Avenue, Pennsauken.

Burdie was charged with various drug offenses and was remanded to the Camden County Jail.

The search warrant was the result of a long term joint investigation with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Suburban Narcotics Unit, the Maple Shade Police Department and the Merchantville Police Department.
