One person suffered seriously injured in an early morning stabbing in Trenton Monday.
Police and EMS were dispatched to an address in the 600 block of West State Street to investigate reports of an aggravated assault in progress around 3:45 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified person suffering stab wounds after being attacked.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and is in serious but stable condition.
The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
No arrests have been reported.
