One person suffered fatal injuries in a shooting in North Brunswick Township Friday evening.
At approximately 9 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 200 block of Hawthorne Road.
Officers arrived and found an unidentified person suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
The victim was pronounced dead a short time later.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office is involved in the investigation, and no arrests have been reported.
