NJ Lottery officials announced that one lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn, winning the $1,121,336 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, January 31, drawing.
The winning numbers were: 03, 22, 33, 40, and 45, and the XTRA number was: 04, officials said.
Lottery officials say the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.
The winning ticket was sold at Jackpocket, 355 Warwick Turnpike, Hewitt in Passaic County, according to officials.
"Congratulations to our very fortunate Jersey Cash 5 winner! We hope this incredible prize brings joy and happiness to the winner; we're already looking forward to awarding another jackpot prize!" said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.
