One Dead, Three Injured After Ringwood Residential Fire

Authorities in Passaic County announced that, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office was notified of a residential fire at 30 Peters Mine Road in Ringwood.

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that the Ringwood Police Department and Fire Prevention Bureau were on scene.

Seven residents were able to exit the house, with three of them transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, according to Passaic County officials.

Another resident, PCPO officials say, a 74-year-old female from Ringwood, New Jersey, was unable to exit the structure and was subsequently found deceased.

This investigation is active and ongoing, Passaic County officials said. More information will be released when it becomes available.
