Gloucester County authorities are looking into a fire that killed one person in Sicklerville on Thursday evening.
According to police, the fire happened around 2:17 p.m. in the 600 block of Jarvis Road. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire tearing through the second floor of a two-story house at that location.
Authorities say one person has died and a 27-year-old man was transported to an area hospital for serious burn injuries.
Police have not identified the deceased person at this time.
The fire was placed under control in about an hour with the cause under investigation.
