Bergen County officials are investigating the cause of a crash that killed a person at an intersection in Ridgefield overnight.
It happened just before midnight on Broad and Grand Avenues.
Police arrived at the scene and found a severely damaged white vehicle with several occupants inside suffering injuries.
One of the injured was pronounced dead at the scene, while EMS transported two other victims to an area hospital for treatment.
The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the collision that destroyed a light pole at that location.
The cause of the wreck has not been determined.
