Burlington County officials are investigating a violent late-night attack that left one person dead from a stabbing and another injured by gunfire outside a 7-Eleven convenience store Wednesday night.
According to preliminary information, police were dispatched to the 7-Eleven located at 247 U.S. Route 130 around 11:35 p.m. after receiving reports of a violent incident.
When officers arrived, they found an unconscious and unresponsive male suffering from a stab wound. First responders administered CPR at the scene, but the victim was later pronounced dead.

During the investigation, police located a second individual suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of the head. That victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition was not immediately released.
Authorities have not confirmed what led to the deadly encounter, and no arrests have been reported. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office is leading the ongoing investigation.
