The Hudson County Prosecutors Office are looking into the motive for a shooting that killed a person in Jersey City.
The late-night shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. in the area of Princeton Avenue and Brown Place.
Police say units rushed to the scene and requested EMS after discovering the unconscious and unresponsive man suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
According to authorities, the victim was pronounced dead a short time later.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and the victim has not been identified at this time.
