Officers Injured in Newark Police Car Crash


Two police officers suffered minor injuries after their cruiser was involved in a collision in Downtown Newark. 

It happed around 2:35 a.m. near the intersection of West Kinney and East Kinney streets. 

Police said a car t-boned the officers' vehicle, causing significant damage. 

Both officers were taken to the hospital for treatment and evaluation due to the collision. 

The cause of the crash has not been determined at this time.
