Ocean City Man Sentenced to 19 Years in Prison for 2017 Murder

Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief of Detectives Paul Skill announce the sentencing of Paul Kline to 19 years in New Jersey State Prison.

According to authorities, on July 22, 2017, Paul Kline, 49, of Ocean City, was charged with death of Denise Weber, also from Ocean City.

Officials say on Feb. 1st, Kline pled guilty to Aggravated Manslaughter, a crime of the 1st degree.

Wednesday sentenced Kline to 19 years in New Jersey State Prison under the Early Release Act and five years of specialized parole.

Prosecutor Sutherland commends the Ocean City Police Department and all of the law enforcement agencies who investigated this violent crime along with Chief Assistant Prosecutor Saverio Carroccia who prosecuted this case resulting in a substantial prison sentence.

Prosecutor Sutherland stated. “Our Office and all of the Counties Law Enforcement Agencies will continue to keep our community safe and make sure that all victims of crimes receive the appropriate justice.”
