NY, NJ Men Arrested for Illegal Dumping in Newark

Police announced the arrest of Samuel Hall, 39, of Vauxhall, Donaldson Simplice, 54, of Spring Valley, New York and Talik Washington, 37, and Isa Poole, 31, both of Newark, for an incident of illegal dumping that occurred on March 27th.

According to authorities, at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force, responded to the 100 block of Seymour Avenue after receiving an anonymous tip from a concerned citizen regarding suspected illegal dumping.

Upon arrival, officers observed four men discarding broken wood, sheet rock, other demolished housing materials and filled black garbage bags from a residence. The men then placed additional wood, tree debris and sheet rock from a pick-up truck on the sidewalk.

Police arrested all four men and charged them with Illegal Dumping and Illegal Transport of Solid Waste.

These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
