NWS: Record-High Temperatures Expected Today in Newark, North Jersey Region

Get ready to embrace the warmth as Newark and North Jersey are gearing up for record-high temperatures.


Compared to yesterday, we're starting the day much milder, with the current temperature at 62 degrees as of 4:35 a.m.

According to The National Weather Service, the day ahead promises plenty of sunshine, with the temperature expected to soar to a high near 77.

A gentle southwest wind at 5 to 7 mph will accompany this pleasant weather.

As we head into Friday night, the skies will remain partly cloudy, with temperatures dipping to around 57 degrees. Expect a light southwest wind at approximately six mph.

The humidity level is at a comfortable 75%, and the barometer reads 30.22, indicating stable weather conditions.
