Meteorologists say the weather forecast for today indicates a 40 percent chance of showers after noon, with patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, the day will be partly sunny, with a high near 62 degrees.

Wind speed is expected to be light and variable, becoming north around 5 mph in the morning.

The walk will begin at 10:00 am and will feature a 2-mile scenic walk around the Met Life Stadium. Participants are encouraged to wear purple, the official color of the Lupus Foundation.
