A 53-year-old man was arrested yesterday after he was reportedly seen masturbating in public Tuesday.
Police were called to Van Liew Cemetery on Georges Road yesterday, at approximately 6:30 p.m. for a report of a man masturbating in the area overlooking Babbage Park.
Upon arrival, the individual was no longer there, however after searching the area a male matching the description provided was located.
A further investigation revealed that William Higley III, 53, of North Brunswick, was in fact the suspect authorities said.
He was arrested and lodged in the Middlesex County Department of Corrections pending Court.
Additional charges are pending, according to police.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
