The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of a shooting that left one person dead in North Brunswick Thursday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 12:17 a.m., police responded to reports of an injured person at an address on Marc Drive.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified person suffering gunshot injuries. The victim was pronounced dead a short time later, according to authorities.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
