Authorities in North Bergen are investigating a stabbing that took place at a location in the city Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called ten the vicinity of 7328 Bergenline Avenue to investigate reports of a person stabbed at approximately 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found an unidentified person suffering a stab injury at that location.
The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment according to police.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation. No arrests have been immediately reported.
