Police officials in Newark are reporting non-life threatening injuries for a person stabbed at a location in Newark's North Ward on Saturday evening.
It happened at approximately 4:55 p.m. in the 70's block of Sumer Avenue where officers arrived to find a male victim suffering a stab injury to the chest.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital where doctors began treatment.
The incident is reportedly a domestic assault with one person arrested.
The investigation remains active.
