Non-Life Threatening Injuries Reported for Victim of Paterson Shooting

Paterson Police are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for a shooting that injured a male on a street in the city Tuesday night.

According to police, the victim was found by emergency responders in the 30's block of Straight Street at approximately 10:24 p.m. suffering a non-life threatening bullet wound to his ankle.

EMS transported the victim to St. Joseph's Medical Center in where doctors treated the injury then listed him in stable condition.

Paterson Police officials are attempting to determine the motive for the shooting.
