Spirit Episcopal Church invites everyone to their Holy Week Celebration.

According to officials, their first event is on April 2​​  PALM SUNDAY​​ 8 A.M. and 10 A.M.​​ Full Choir at 10 A.M

The traditional distribution of palms is followed by a solemn procession into the sanctuary for a service recalling Christ’s entry into Jerusalem and his death on the cross. 

April 6​​ MAUNDY THURSDAY​ 6 P.M. ​

The service recalls Jesus’s last supper with his disciples when he gave them a new mandate: love one another. 

It includes foot washing, clearing of the altar, and Holy Communion. 

April 7, GOOD FRIDAY​​ 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.

It marks the end of Lent with a day of service to help those in need in the community.

The day ends with the Good Friday liturgy and Stations of the Cross.

April 8-9​ EASTER VIGIL​​ 6:30 P.M. to about 9:30 P.M.

They will gather in the churchyard for a bonfire, Bible stories, and singing; then process to the church for the kindling of the new fire, lighting of the pascal candle, and the first Eucharist of Easter. 

April 9​​ EASTER DAY ​​Festival Eucharists at 8 & 10 A.M.
