NJ Women Sue Massage Envy Following Sexual Assault Allegations

A lawsuit was filed against Massage Envy by four New Jersey women who claim they were sexually assaulted while on the massage table of the business then discouraged by management to report to authorities.

According to the suit filed in court on Thursday in Middlesex County, it claimed that the assaults occurred from January 2015 to November 2016 at Massage Envy locations in Piscataway, Closter, Mays Landing and Short Hills.

The allegations - which allegedly involved male massage therapists - claims penetration and massaging of intimate areas without consent to female customers.

The lawsuit seeks exemplary and punitive damages to punish Massage Envy and to deter others from committing such wrongful and malicious acts.

There were no criminal charges filed in the case.
