Authorities in Bergen County announced that the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Closter Police Department are investigating a single-vehicle crash.
According to officials, this crash involved a Tesla Model X with five occupants that occurred on Durie Avenue in Closter on Friday, December 1, 2023, at approximately 6:23 p.m.
The four passengers in the vehicle were transported to area hospitals, and officials said one of the passengers sustained serious bodily injuries.
The investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Closter Police Department under the direction of Chief John McTigue, officials say.
Officials stated no additional information is available at this time.
