A NJ Transit train that struck and killed a woman on the near the Maplewood station late Saturday, has authorities investigating.
According to officials, the train traveling on the Morris Essex line was en route to Penn Station in New York when it struck the woman shortly before 10 p.m.,
None of the train's 175 passengers and crew were injured.
Train service was suspended between Maplewood and East Orange until about 10:45 p.m.
