NJ State Police Seeks Public’s Assistance in Identifying Man Wanted for Theft

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of using a fraudulent driver's license to make purchases on a cellphone account.

According to police, on December 15th at approximately 5:40 p.m., the suspect allegedly used a fraudulent driver's license to make a purchase on a cellular phone account.

The suspect purchased a smartphone, headphones and other items totaling $1,100.

Police said the suspect used a fake driver's license, which contained the victim's information, and made a small deposit in cash, leaving the remaining balance on the victim's account.

Detectives suspect that this individual may executed this same scam in other townships in South Jersey.
