A crash that left two people dead on a NJ highway early this morning has NJ State Police investigating.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the northbound lanes of NJ-42 i Bellmawr after they received multiple calls reporting a crash with injuries reported.
Upon their arrival, officers found an overturned dump truck and an SUV involved in a crash at that location.
There were two confirmed fatalities according to NJ State Police. The victims’ identities have not been released.
The crash caused massive congestion on the highway as police and emergency responders worked to clear the injured and investigate the cause of the crash.
