Officials said it is with deep regret that they announce the passing of Latasha Andrews, 33, Security Guard, Security Operations Unit, Field Operations Section.
Latasha Andrews began her career with the New Jersey State Police in 2006. She was assigned to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs building located at 124 Halsey Street in Newark.
Latasha passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 virus.
Those who knew Latasha described her as having a kind and beautiful soul who had a passion for fashion and travel.
She is survived by her father, two brothers, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Thank you for your service, Latasha. You will be missed.
