New Jersey

This past Wednesday, Major Michael Devlin, Captain Sal Ingui, Captain Dave Dias, and Sgt. Dennis Cappello

New Jersey State Police this week visited Hackensack Meridian Health

in Hackensack and delivered toys, gifts and gear to adult and pediatric patients at the John Theurer Cancer Center.

Officials say Lt. Ingui and his wife, Denise, brought gifts from their foundation, Rare is Beautiful, which they started after their daughter, Dee Dee, was diagnosed with Peutz Jeghers Syndrome, a rare inherited condition that puts people at an increased risk for developing polyps as well as cancers.

According to authorities, troopers roamed the hospital halls until every child patient received a special visit from the troopers.

Officials thank hospital staff, volunteers, and Ingui family for making this a great.
