A New Jersey Lottery player in Mercer County is celebrating a life-changing win after matching all five numbers in Tuesday’s Jersey Cash 5 drawing to claim a jackpot worth $3,402,434.
According to the New Jersey Lottery, the prize marks the largest Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in the game’s history.
The winning numbers drawn were 09, 10, 23, 28, and 34. The Bullseye number was 09 and the XTRA multiplier was 03.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold at Quick Stop Food Market in Trenton.
The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
In addition to the top prize, dozens of players also scored smaller winnings. Officials said 77 players matched four out of five numbers along with the Bullseye to win $500 each.
Of those winners, 19 players tripled their prizes to $1,500 by opting to play the XTRA feature.
Following the historic payout, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot was reset to $150,000 ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.

Meanwhile, lottery officials also reported that a player in Illinois recently captured a massive $533 million jackpot in the Mega Millions drawing.
New Jersey players participating in Mega Millions can benefit from the game’s multiplier feature, which boosts secondary prize amounts.
