NJ Men Arrested for Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Drugs in Clifton

Authorities in Passaic County announced that on April 25th at approximately 6:30 PM, an officer from the Clifton Police Department observed a stolen vehicle traveling in the area of Route 21 South near Ackerman Avenue.

According to authorities, the vehicle, a 2015 Honda Pilot, had been stolen out of Clifton on April 20th. 

Police say the vehicle driver refused to stop and subsequently led officers on a motor vehicle pursuit through the streets of Paterson - until he lost control of the vehicle and drove off the roadway near 21st Avenue (Paterson).

The driver, later identified as Frank Carfagno, 38, of Belleville, along with the front seat passenger, later identified as Scott Amill, 39, of Hackensack, fled from the vehicle and were apprehended after a foot pursuit along a set of railroad tracks.  

Both individuals were charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Burglar Tools, along with multiple CDS-related offenses, including possession of Heroin and Psilocybin Mushrooms.
