A Washington Township man has been sentenced to four years in New Jersey State Prison after admitting he threatened to kill a woman during a domestic violence incident, according to information released by authorities.

Quasan Flowers, 25, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Kevin T. Smith after pleading guilty to third-degree terroristic threats as part of a plea agreement.

According to court documents and statements made during court proceedings, police responded to a residence in Mullica Hill on Oct. 14, 2024, after a woman reported that Flowers assaulted her during an argument the previous night.

Investigators said the victim told officers Flowers spit on her, scratched her arms, struck her in the head, and threatened to kill her while armed with a firearm.

Following the investigation, Flowers was arrested and initially charged with multiple offenses related to the alleged assault and the firearm.

As part of the plea agreement, Flowers pleaded guilty to the terroristic threats charge.

He was sentenced to four years in state prison.
