An Ocean County man accused of carrying out a widespread burglary spree across several towns is being held without bail as he awaits trial.
According to a statement released by Ocean County officials, 48-year-old Craig T. Orler faces more than 90 charges tied to a series of commercial break-ins and thefts.

During a recent detention hearing before Superior Court Judge Pamela Snyder, Assistant Prosecutor Isabella Young outlined Orler’s alleged crimes.
Ocean County officials said that 34 burglaries occurred at the Cube Smart storage facility in Brick in December and January.
He is also accused of stealing an ATV and a motorcycle, as well as breaking into vending machines belonging to his employer, Tri-State Vending.
Orler was taken into custody on April 28 after police linked him to a burglary at a smoke shop in Manchester.
Investigators later connected him to the stolen ATV after he allegedly attempted to sell it on Facebook.
In addition to the Ocean County charges, Orler is also facing burglary-related cases in Howell Township, court records show.
Prosecutors highlighted Orler’s extensive criminal background, noting multiple guilty pleas for commercial burglaries over the past two decades.
At the time of his most recent arrest, Orler was already on supervised release following a federal sentence related to illegal firearms transactions. That release was revoked in 2021.

Assistant Prosecutor Young described Orler’s actions as showing “a blatant disregard for the law,” stressing the decision to detain him without bail.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may follow as authorities continue to review the series of thefts.
