NJ Man Charged With Several Counts of Explicit Images of Minors

Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera and Chief Thomas J. Montagna of the Old Bridge Police Department announced today that Daniel Berwick, 39, of Old Bridge, has been arrested as a result of an explicit images of minors  investigation conducted by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

After receiving a cyber tip from the New Jersey State Police, an investigation was conducted by Detective Ken McGarry of the Internet Crimes Against Minors Unit at the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

It is alleged that Berwick was posing as a 17-year~old boy on Snapchat by using another person’s pictures and videos.


 

As a result of that investigation Berwick was charged. The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Minors Unit with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies arrested Berwick on January 21, 2026, without incident at his home in Old Bridge. 

Subsequent to the execution of a search warrant for his residence, Berwick was charged with first-degree Production of Explicit Images of Minors Material, among other serious charges.
