NJ Man Charged with Explicit Crimes Involving Four Juveniles

Authorities in Hudson County announced that the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit has arrested and charged a Bayonne man with committing explicit crimes on four female juvenile victims.

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez stated Anthony Lashley, 38, is charged with two counts of Aggravated Explicit Assault, Aggravated Explicit Assault, two counts of Explicit Assault, Explicit Assault, two counts of Explicit Contact, three counts of Criminal Explicit Contact, and five counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The crimes occurred on multiple occasions between 2017 and 2024 in Jersey City and Bayonne, officials stated. 

According to officials, the four victims were under the age of 18.

Lashley was first arrested on charges involving two of the victims on February 22, 2024, officials say. 

During the investigation, officials said, an additional two victims were identified.

Authorities say Lashley was charged in those matters on April 9, 2024.

He remains in custody at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, officials stated.
