A South Jersey man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that left one teenager dead and another seriously injured in Atlantic City last month has been captured in Philadelphia, according to information released by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities said 23-year-old Louis Jackson was located and arrested Tuesday afternoon on the 5000 block of Chester Avenue by Philadelphia police working alongside the FBI.
The arrest occurred around 12:30 p.m.
According to investigators, Jackson is accused of opening fire on two teens on Nov. 7 along the 800 block of Arkansas Avenue in Atlantic City.
A 15-year-old victim later died at a nearby hospital, while a 17-year-old who was shot in the face is expected to survive, based on the latest update provided by officials.
Prosecutors said Jackson fled the area immediately after the gunfire, prompting a multi-agency search that ultimately led federal agents to his location in Philadelphia.

Jackson, who resides in Galloway, now faces charges including murder and attempted murder, authorities stated.
