A Gloucester County man is facing drug distribution and child endangerment charges after investigators allegedly discovered suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia inside a residence where three children were present.

According to Gloucester County Prosecutor Andrew B. Johns, Brandin Jones, 38, of Logan Township, was arrested following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force.
On November 4, investigators executed search warrants targeting Jones, his home and his vehicle.
During the searches, authorities reportedly recovered 120 wax folds containing suspected heroin, along with a mixer, razor blade and plastic straw, each containing white powdery residue.
Prosecutors said the suspected drugs were discovered in an area easily accessible to three children who were inside the residence at the time.
Jones was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, drug possession, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.
If convicted, Jones could face up to 10 years in prison on the child endangerment charge and up to five years on each of the drug-related felony charges.
