A Mahwah resident is facing serious charges after investigators uncovered a large collection of illegal material involving children on his electronic devices.
According to a statement released by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, 28-year-old Quinn T. Dickson was taken into custody following a cyber investigation led by the office’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

Officials said that on November 25, 2025, detectives executed a search warrant at Dickson’s home as part of an ongoing online child-exploitation probe.

During the search, investigators determined that Dickson had used the Internet to view, download, and store more than 5,000 files containing unlawful images of minors.

Following the discovery, Dickson was arrested later that day in Paramus and charged with second-degree possession of illegal images of minors.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, he was transported to the Bergen County Jail, where he is being held pending his first appearance in Superior Court in Hackensack.

The case remains under review as authorities continue their broader efforts to identify and disrupt online crimes involving children.
